St. Agnes Hospital is actively recruiting a full time (1.0FTE) Anesthesiologist to join our anesthesia department. The department currently consists of 11 physicians and 10 CRNA/AA's. Our Anesthesiologists provide care to our patients both at St. Agnes Hospital, as well as our outpatient location, the Fond du Lac Surgery Center. St. Agnes Hospital has 7 operating rooms plus 1 cardiovascular operating room and a hybrid cath lab. The Fond du Lac Surgery Center has 4 operating rooms. Call frequency is 1:8. The caseload includes a mix of general anesthesia as well as cardiac cases. Participation in the open heart rotation is required. St. Agnes does approximately 120 heart cases per year.

The Hospital

St. Agnes Hospital is a 174-bed facility that does approximately 5,000 surgical cases per year. Case mix includes general, orthopedics, ENT, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, urology, neurosurgery, podiatry and hearts.

St. Agnes Hospital, a nonprofit Catholic institution, is a leader in providing quality state-of-the-art healthcare services, whether it is cancer treatment; comprehensive heart care through the Dale Michels Center for Heart Care, including angioplasty and open-heart surgery; home or hospice care; maternity services; laser surgery; sports medicine; behavioral health services; women's health services; occupational health services; rehabilitation services and 24-hour emergency care.

The Outpatient Surgery Center

The Fond du Lac Surgery Center, Agnesian HealthCare's outpatient surgery center does approximately 2500 surgical cases per year, and is located approximately two miles from St. Agnes Hospital. The Surgery Center consists of four operating room suites. Services offered include plastic surgery and cosmetic services, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and podiatry.

Fond du lac, a thriving community of just over 43,000, is situated at the foot of Wisconsin's Lake Winnebago (a location that gives the city its French name), Fond du Lac is an easy drive to Milwaukee, Madison (the state capital) and Green Bay - Titletown USA. This puts the city at the center of the state's population concentration, an area with more than 3 million residents.

Lake Winnebago is Wisconsin's largest inland lake. The 400 acres of islands and lakefront making up Lakeside Park are a focal point for outdoor activity throughout the summer. Additionally, Kettle Moraine State Park is within a short drive.

Fond du Lac's educational system consistently gets top academic performance grades in both state and national ratings and the public and private elementary and secondary systems are widely recognized as one of the best in the state and the Midwest.
