SSM Health Medical Group, seeks to enhance and grow its Gastroenterology Services at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond Heights.
This position offers:
  • GI Colleagues who consistently produce in the 90th percentile, creating community need and a waiting patient panel
  • The opportunity to perform ERCP, diagnostic and therapeutic, and EUS
  • A well respected, physician led practice model that gives each physician a say in the operation of their own practice and overall direction of the organization
  • Highly trained, experienced staff and fully integrated electronic health records which minimize non-clinical tasks for the physicians
  • Well trained, experienced staff and EHR integrated system wide minimizes physician time spent on non-clinical tasks
  • Procedures performed at same location as office practice
  • In-house anesthesia, pathology lab, CT and infusion
  • Weekend call will be 1:6
  • The opportunity to work with medical students, residents and fellows

St Mary's Hospital is a 527 Bed, teaching facility affiliated with St Louis University School of Medicine with advanced diagnostic and comprehensive robotic-assisted procedural equipment. St. Mary's is located in a lovely, trendy, first ring suburb of St. Louis.

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O.
  • ERCP, diagnostic and therapeutic, training and experience required
  • EUS training and experience preferred
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA Gastroenterology Fellowship Program
  • Gastroenterology Board Certification, (if BE, must become BC w/in 2 years).
  • Missouri Medical License
  • DEA certificate
  • Proficiency with EPIC, myChart, PACS, LMS, etc.
  • Ability to complete medical records in a timely manner
