Advanced Practitioner - Endocrinology- Fish Hatchery Clinic, Madison, WI

The Opportunity

SSM Health Dean Medical Group, a 450+ physician, multi-specialty clinic is actively recruiting 2 full-time (1.0 FTE) Advanced Practitioners to join our busy Endocrinology department at Dean Medical Group - Fish Hatchery. This location houses 2 physicians and 2 advanced practitioners.

Essential job responsibilities include:

- Treating patients with diabetes and thyroid conditions

- With training will work towards comprehensive endocrinology care

- Accepts call from diabetes patients with questions or concerns

Opportunity Highlights:

- Very collegial and close knit team environment

- Team is collaborative and respectful of everyone's opinions

- The APs work closely with 2 fulltime diabetes educators

- Fulltime support staff available to room patients and take triage calls

- No call schedule or weekend rotations

- Regular daytime clinical hours

Endocrinology at SSM Health

SSM Health endocrinologists diagnose and treat conditions related to the endocrine system, which includes the glands and hormones. The endocrine system influences nearly every system in the body by controlling metabolism, growth and development, and reproductive health. Endocrinologists work with a broad array of diseases, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, metabolic disorders, menopause, osteoporosis, hypertension, cholesterol disorders and infertility. SSM Health endocrinologists work closely with your primary care provider to carefully monitor your care.
