Advanced Practitioner - Urgent Care at Dean Medical Group - Madison and Janesville, WI

The Opportunity
SSM Health Dean Medical Group, a 500+ physician, multi-specialty clinic is actively recruiting a full-time Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to join our busy Urgent Care department at the Dean Clinic Madison and Janesville locations. The department is open Monday through Friday 7am - 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am - 5pm. The new AP will have flexible scheduling, and is required to work 3 weekend shifts a month. Prior experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine is preferred. The candidate for this position should be comfortable diagnosing and treating children and adults with minor to complex medical problems as well as be experienced in laceration repair and acute fracture care(splinting).

Residents enjoy a plentiful array of golfing, hiking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and other outdoor activities. Janesville was settled in 1836 after Henry Janes traveled to the area. Proud of their heritage, Janesville's residents have shown great dedication to the restoration of the city's early buildings and homes. Of particular interest is the Look West Historic District, an early neighborhood with connections to the city's rail and manufacturing history. Janesville is home to an extension center of the University of Wisconsin and to Blackhawk Technical College, one of the state's leading technical colleges. Janesville is located 40 minutes south of Madison and 90 minutes from Chicago.
