SSM Health- Monroe Clinic, a multi-specialty clinic is actively recruiting an (1.0FTE) Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to join our busy Rheumatology department at our new campus location in Monroe, WI. This location houses 3 part-time physicians. The new AP will practice all aspects of rheumatology and will assist in providing patient education on rheumatology diseases and therapies. This position does not involve call or inpatient responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have previous rheumatology experience and the ability to assist in performing routine diagnostic studies and procedures in a rheumatology clinic. Two to five years of advanced practice experience within internal medicine or a similar background is preferred.

Monroe Clinic is a dynamic, mission-driven health system and a member of SSM Health. Combining a rich history and a focus on innovation, Monroe Clinic is a regional referral center drawing 50 percent of its patients from outside Green County. Throughout Monroe Clinic's networks in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois we see more than 1,000 patients per day.
The main clinic facility, completed in November 1993, occupies 114,000 square feet and houses some of the 120 physicians in our multi-specialty group. With clinics located in Monroe, Albany, Blanchardville, Brodhead and New Glarus, Wisconsin, and in Durand, Freeport, and Lena, Illinois. Though subspecialty care is available at some locations, the focus there is on family-centered primary care.
Opened in March 2012, the hospital has 58 bed operating capacity, serving medical, surgical, orthopaedic, pediatric, intensive care, emergency and obstetrical patients.
