Description

SSM Health - Illinois seeks an Nurse Practictioner or Physician Assistant to join and established Hematology and Oncology practice with two other providers. This position will be affiliated with both Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

This is an employed position with SSM Health- Good Samaritan Hospital, a premier hospital system located in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, where easy access is available to St. Louis, Chicago, Evansville, Indianapolis, Louisville, Memphis and Nashville.

Highlights of the opportunity are:

  • Practice at a brand new state of the art facility
  • Facility is a not-for-profit Catholic institution affiliated with SSM HealthCare
  • Fully electronic practice supported by Epic.
  • Clinic based practice with support of two physicians and an active Hospitalist program
  • 250,000 population service area covering 9 counties

Qualifications

Graduate of an accrediated APN or PA program.

Board certification required if graduated.

would prefer a candidate with previous Oncology experience either as an NP/PA or an oncology RN, but not required of the position.
